Dear International Students,

In accordance with relevant superior arrangements, we hereby issue the notice regarding graduation extension applications for the Spring Semester of the 2025-2026 Academic Year, 2026 scholarship extension applications for Chinese Government Scholarship PhD students, and other academic status changes for our university as follows:

I. Graduation Extension for the Spring Semester of the 2025-2026 Academic Year

(1) Eligible Applicants

International master's and PhD students who are still within the maximum study duration.

(2) Timeframe

From now until the deadline for prospective graduates to submit defense applications to their schools and confirm participation in the degree defense of this semester.

(3) Application Procedures

1.Master's and PhD students shall submit an online graduation extension application via the Enterprise WeChat client of Beijing Forestry University by referring to 附件2：研究生延期毕业线上操作指南, which needs approval from relevant reviewers.

2.Meanwhile, master's and PhD students shall fill in 附件1：研究生延期毕业申请表（国际学生）, obtain signatures and official seals from supervisors, disciplines, and schools, then submit the form to Teacher Cui in Office 170.

(4) Notes

1.Only students within the maximum study duration are eligible for graduation extension applications. Applications will not be accepted if students are approaching or have exceeded the maximum study duration.

2.Non-degree students such as language students and pre-university students are not allowed to apply for graduation extension. Undergraduate students within the maximum study duration may apply only if they fail to meet the graduation and degree conferment requirements of the current year, following specific procedures stipulated by the Academic Affairs Office.

3.The validity of study visas for international students will be adjusted based on actual on-campus study status. No study visa will be issued for staying in China after graduation. Please submit truthful and accurate extension applications according to actual situations.

4.Graduation extension only affects the on-campus study period and has no impact on scholarship duration or adjustments to scholarship benefits.

II. 2026 Scholarship Extension Applications for Chinese Government Scholarship PhD Students

(1) Eligible Applicants

International PhD students receiving Chinese Government Scholarship support at our university who meet all the following criteria:

1.Diligent study attitude and good academic performance;

2.Not included in the 2026/2027 scholarship plan by their dispatching country;

3.Passed the annual scholarship review, completed the proposal defense, and passed the mid-term assessment required by the university;

4.Original Chinese Government Scholarship expires in July 2026 or January 2027 (including students on past or current suspension).

(2) Timeframe

April 1 to April 24, 2026

(3) Application Procedures

1.Eligible international PhD students shall first complete the 2026 annual review requirements for Chinese Government Scholarships in the China Scholarship Council Management Information System for International Students in China (https://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn) (specific requirements to be notified separately).

2.After completing the annual review in the above system, enter the "PhD Scholarship Extension Application" page, click "Add New", fill in relevant information, then click "Save and Submit".

(4) Notes

1.Each Chinese Government Scholarship PhD student is allowed only one scholarship extension during their studies, for either half a year or one year. No repeated applications will be accepted.

2.PhD students applying for scholarship extension must complete the graduation extension procedures mentioned above, with consistent deadlines for both applications.

3.If you lose your account or password for the China Scholarship Council Management Information System for International Students in China, please contact Teacher Cui for account resetting.

III. Other Academic Status Changes

(1) Eligible Applicants

All international students of our university

(2) Timeframe

From now until April 10, 2026

(3) Application Procedures

International students applying for early graduation, study suspension, resumption of studies, or dropout shall contact Teacher Cui at the International College to obtain relevant application forms. After obtaining signatures and official seals from supervisors, disciplines, and schools, submit the completed forms to Teacher Cui in Office 170.

(4) Notes

1.The study duration in China for early graduation applicants will be shortened to the graduation month. Scholarship holders will receive stipends only until graduation and departure, instead of the original scholarship expiry date.

2.Study suspension is generally approved for one academic year. Suspension is usually not allowed for language students, pre-university students, or those with a study duration of one year or less.

3.Students receiving MOFCOM scholarships are generally not allowed to suspend studies due to special project requirements.

4.Suspension periods count towards the maximum study duration for degree students. Ensure you are still within the allowed maximum duration and can complete training program requirements before applying for suspension.

5.Scholarship disbursement is generally suspended during suspension and resumed upon re-enrollment, with the scholarship duration extended accordingly (excluding those exceeding the maximum study duration).

6.Students must contact the designated staff of the International College to complete resumption procedures upon suspension expiry. Unregistered re-enrollment without continued suspension application will result in no stipend reimbursement for the suspension period, and long-term uncontactable students will have their academic status revoked.

7.Dropout applicants will have their study visa validity shortened (reserved time for luggage packing and departure from China will be provided). The subsequent study fees already paid for self-financed students will be refunded to the original payment account.

各位国际学生，

根据上级的有关安排，现将我校2025-2026学年春季学期延期毕业和中国政府奖学金博士生2026年申请延长奖学金资助期限以及其他学籍异动的有关工作通知如下：

一、2025-2026学年春季学期延期毕业

（一）针对群体

尚在最长学业年限内的国际硕士研究生和博士研究生。

（二）时间期限

即日起，应届毕业生最晚不晚于在所在学院提出答辩申请、确定参与本学期的学位答辩。

（三）具体流程

1.硕士和博士研究生，请参考《附件2：研究生延期毕业线上操作指南》在北京林业大学的企业微信客户端，线上提出延期毕业申请，并由有关审核人审核通过。

1.硕士和博士研究生，同时请使用《附件1：研究生延期毕业申请表（国际学生）》提出申请，并经过导师、所在学科和所在学院的同意，签字盖章后，将表格送至170办公室崔老师处。

（四）注意事项

1.只有还在最长学习年限内的学生可以提出延期毕业申请，如果学生即将或已经超出最长学习年限，不能提出延期毕业申请。

2.语言生、预科生等非学历生不能提出延期毕业申请，尚在最长学业年限内的本科生仅在不能满足当年毕业和学位授予要求的情况下，准予延期毕业，具体流程按照教务处的有关要求执行。

3.国际学生的学习签证期限将根据学生实际在校学习与否进行调整，国际学生毕业后将不能继续获得学习签证以继续留在中国境内，请根据实际情况，如实、准确的提出延期申请。

4.延期毕业的申请仅与在校学习的期限相关，与奖学金资助的期限无关，不影响奖学金资助的变化与否。

二、中国政府奖学金博士生2026年申请延长奖学金资助期限

（一）针对群体

我校享受中国政府奖学金资助的国际博士研究生，需满足以下条件：

1.学习态度认真、表现良好；

2.未被派遣国列入2026/2027年度奖学金计划；

3.已通过奖学金年度评审、完成学校规定的开题报告并通过中期考核；

4.原中国政府奖学金于2026年7月或2027年1月到期（包括此前休学或当前正在休学的学生）。

（二）时间期限

2026年4月1日至4月24日

（三）具体流程

1.满足条件的国际博士研究生，首先在中国奖学金来华留学管理信息系统（https://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn）完成有关2026年中国政府奖学金年度评审的有关工作要求（具体工作要求另行通知）。

2.在中国奖学金来华留学管理信息系统（https://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn）完成2026年中国政府奖学金年度评审后，进入“博士生延期申请”界面，点击“新增”按钮，填写相关申请信息后，点击“保存并提交”。

（四）注意事项

1.每个享受中国政府奖学金资助的国际博士研究生在读期间仅可申请延期一次，可延长半年或一年，对已办理过延期的，不再受理。

2.申请延长中国政府奖学金资助期限的博士研究生，必须同时完成上文延期毕业的有关工作，且延期毕业的时间节点需与申请延长中国政府奖学金资助期限一致。

3.如果中国奖学金来华留学管理信息系统的账户和密码丢失，请联系崔老师进行账号重置。

三、其他学籍异动

（一）针对群体

（二）时间期限

即日起至2026年4月10日

（三）具体流程

有提前毕业、休学、复学、退学等需要的国际学生，请与国际学院崔老师联系，获取相关申请表提出申请，并经过导师、所在学科和所在学院的同意，签字盖章后，将表格送至170办公室崔老师处。

（四）注意事项

1.申请提前毕业学生的在华学习期限将被缩短至毕业当月，其中奖学金生的奖学金发到毕业离校当月，不再覆盖原奖学金期限。

2.一般情况下，休学期限以一学年为单位。语言生、预科生等学习期限小于等于一年的情况，一般不准予休学。

3.享受商务部奖学金的学生，因项目特殊要求，一般不准予休学。

4.休学时间将占据学历生的最长学习年限，请在办理休学前确保自己尚在要求的最长学习年限内，能完成培养方案所要求的学习任务。

5.一般情况下，享受奖学金的学生休学期间将暂停奖学金的发放，在复学后再次发放奖学金，奖学金的期限也将相应延长（已经超出最长学习年限的除外）。

6.休学期满后，学生应及时与国际学院负责老师联系，办理复学手续。若未按期到校办理复学继续学习，且未继续办理休学，奖学金生不在校期间的奖学金将不予补发，长期失联的还将取消其学籍。

7.办理退学的学生，其学习签证有效期将被缩短（保留必要的行李打包和离华时间），自费学生已经缴纳的后续学习费用将会被退还至原支付渠道。
